Learn in a safe, fun, and educational setting
Studying science and history helps children to know and understand the world around them.
The Museum offers your child this opportunity in a safe, fun, and educational setting. Through non-
traditional teaching techniques, campers are encouraged to explore science, animal behavior, history, and their local environment using interactive lessons and educational games and crafts.
Classes fill up quickly, so preregistration is required.
The Brazos Valley Museum offers Nature Camps to children ages 4 - 12.
Campers are divided into age groups 4 - 5, 6 - 7, 8 - 9, 10 - 12.
Types of Camps
Summer Nature Camp runs for 6 weeks.
Spring Mini-Camp and Winter Mini-Camp are offered during Spring and Winter breaks.
Refunds are not available unless a replacement camper is located to fill the vacancy.
Exceptions will be made for COVID-19 related cases.
The Museum will offer waiting lists for interested patrons when camp sessions are full. We will call parents after 12:00 pm on the Friday before the requested camp session to let you know about availability.
