Lone Star Lizards

On Display:
10 Sep 2009 - 2 Nov 2009Please join us for a close up view of some of our native lizards and learn about their natural history. Find out about the challenges these fascinating animals face and what you can do to help. Beautiful examples of lizards in art will also be featured.
The opening reception on September 10, 2009 features a talk by Dr. Kathryn Vaughan, Lizards and Man: Mythology, Medicine, and More. Texas Parks and Wildlife Biologist Lee Ann Linam will also discuss Texas' own endangered horned lizards at a lecture on October 16th (6pm Brazos Center Auditorium) with a reception to follow in the gallery.
