T-REX Art Challenge

Submit your dinosaur drawing to our T. REX ART CHALLENGE by April 15 for a chance to win a free Museum Membership for one year!

Have you got a Tyrannosaurus rex-sized talent for drawing? Why not help us celebrate our first annual T. rex Roundup by entering the Museum’s T. rex Art Challenge! You can draw, paint, or color any type of dinosaur to enter. The winning entries in three age categories will receive a free Museum Membership for one year.

Eligibility: The T. rex Art Challenge is open to children in grades PK through 8.

Update: Adult Art Contest

On Saturday, May 16th, the Museum will host the T-Rex Roundup, barbeque dinner and dance at the Brazos Center, Bryan, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the Museum. We encourage you to submit a creative entry!

To be accepted for exhibition at the event, artwork must be suitable for display. So please frame your artwork if this is needed. Entries should be no larger than 18” x 24”. Eligible artisans are those who are above the age of 15. If you are below this age line, please submit your submission in the children’s contest.

Last day to submit entries will be Friday, May 1, 2009. Participants must pay a fee of $10.00 per work. Only one work per entrant will be accepted. Make check payable to “Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History.”
