Star Party
22 Jan 2010
From Sunset until 9:00 PM
The Museum, along with professional and amateur astronomers representing the George P. and Cynthia W. Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics, Brazos Region Astronomy Service Society (BRASS), and the Brazos Valley Astronomy Club, invite the whole community to share a magnificent evening of night sky viewing.
The Museum’s current exhibition, “From Earth to the Universe,” will also be open for special late night viewing, just in case star gazers need to come inside and warm up! Regular admission for the star party is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, 3 and under (and current Museum Friends) are free. Cookies and Hot Wassail will be served.
Come take advantage of this opportunity to experience a professionally guided viewing of the night sky.
