Rio Brazos Audubon Society Meeting: Birding 201: How to Get Started Birding

Free and open to the public
Birding 201: How to Get Started Birding
Bruce Neville, RBAS Field Trip Chair
Been thinking about getting started in birding but not quite sure how?
Do you want to develop you birding skills?
Bruce Neville will provide tips on when to bird, where to bird, how to identify birds, what’s the best field guide, how to buy binoculars, how and why of listing birds and other frequently asked questions about the wonderful, rewarding and enjoyable past time of watching birds.
The Rio Brazos field trip on Saturday, April 16th, will be to Brison Park and Country Club Lake to practice those skills. With any luck, we will have plenty of confusing spring warblers to sort out. You do NOT need to attend Wednesday’s program to join us on Saturday.
