6 Feb 2010
In conjunction with the Showcase, the Museum is offering an Access Nature Teacher Workshop on February 6 from 9 am to 4 pm to train educators to utilize Access Nature, a National Wildlife Federation curriculum. Access Nature is a complete curriculum designed to align with National Science Education Standards for outdoor science. Targeting students ages 6-14, it focuses on habitats while developing environmental awareness and leadership skills.
Advanced registration is required to attend this workshop, and it is free to the first 15 registrants. Enroll by calling Maria Lazo at the Museum at 979-776-2195.
