Teacher Workshops

This summer, the Museum will be partnering with Heather Prestridge of the Texas Cooperative Wildlife Collections, Texas A&M University, to offer Project Wild and Project Flying Wild workshops for teachers.
“Project WILD is one of the most widely-used conservation and environmental education programs among educators of students in kindergarten through high school.” (www.projectwild.org)
Project Flying Wild has a bird conservation emphasis with “standards-based classroom activities and environmental stewardship projects”. (www.flyingwild.org)
Enrollment is limited; more information will be posted soon. Please call the Museum for more details.
