Week 1
June 8-June 12: Buggin’ Out
Why can’t a beetle grow to be the size of a cow? What does a baby dragonfly look like? Join us this week as we explore the diverse world of insects and spiders, in our own back-yard and beyond.
Week 2
June 15-June 19: Microscopic Mayhem
There's more than meets the eye! We'll look at the world with a microscopic eye as we get a close-up view of bacte-ria, parasites, and viruses to better understand the mayhem some of these microscopic life forms play.
Week 3
June 22-June 26: Texas Tribes
Along with our Caddo Exhibition, we’ll trek across Texas to learn about the Caddo Indians and other Texas Tribes. As we study their traditions and skills, we’ll find out why its important to appreciate native peoples and their contributions.
Week 4
June 29-July 3: Aquatic Adventures
From puddles to the deep blue sea, aquatic critters thrive in a wet environment. Join us as we soak up facts about water and the animals that call it home.
(Campers are required to bring a change of clothes, water shoes, and towel all week. Water Play Day will be held on Friday, July 3. Hot dog lunch will be provided by the Mu-seum on Friday.)

July 6-July 10: Cold Blooded Buddies
Like a slithering good time? Come enjoy learning about our cold blooded buddies! We'll travel around the world to learn about cold blooded animals, including the tiniest newt and the biggest anaconda.

Week 6
July 20-July 24: Dynamic Dinos
Join us for a week filled with dynamic dino information! From what dinosaurs ate to where they lived, we'll explore the prehistoric world of dinosaurs and the other ancient ani-mals that lived by their side.
Week 7
July 27-July 31: Super Builders
Animals build homes just like we do. Come explore with us some of the amazing architectural creations in the natural world and have fun comparing them with human buildings. You will even get a chance to design some yourself!
Week 8
August 3-August 7: 3… 2... 1… Lift Off
2009 is International Year of Astronomy! Lift off with us as we explore beyond the Earth's atmosphere and delve into outer space to explore planets, moons, and stars. From an-cient astronomy to modern day marvels, we'll look at tools used in astronomy as well as the important discoveries in our skies.
Week 9
August 10-August 14: Wild About Wildlife
Are you wild about wildlife? Then come enjoy this week as we explore the entire animal kingdom and learn all about birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, fish, and much more.
