Game Day Events

The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History's Game Day Learn & Play offers fun and educational programs for children, leaving parents free to enjoy attending Aggie football games.
Game Day Learn & Play is scheduled during every regular home game of the Texas A&M football season. Parents need not attend Aggie games to register their children, but program times will vary according to Aggie game times. It's a great chance for your children to come learn and play with us at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History!
Basic Information
How and Where: Your children come to the Museum for fun & creative educational programs during “home” Aggie football games.All Game Day activities take place onsite at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History.
Who: The programs are designed for children 4-12 years of age.
When: Drop-off begins one hour and thirty minutes (1hr 30min) before kick-off. Programs start one (1) hour before kick-off and continue until one (1) hour after the end of the game. Dates and times are subject to change according to the official Texas Aggie football game schedule. Late fees may be assessed for late pick-up.
Registration: Pre-registration is required for your child to attend. Complete forms are available at the Museum. Museum programs fill quickly, so please register early.
Cost and Discounts
Museum members: $35 per session
Non-Members: $40 per session
All Sessions Discount: $12 off total if you enroll your child in all sessions ($198 Members; $228 Non-Members)
Sibling Discount: $2 off each session for each additional child (Members: $35 first child, $33 additional children; Non-Members: $40 first child, $38 additional children)

September 5: Arabian Nights
The magic genie only grants three wishes, so here goes: Wish #1: I wish you would come join us at the Museum for a night of flying carpets, snake charming and magic lamps. Wish #2: I wish the evening will be full of good friends, great food and lots of laughs. Wish #3: This one’s for you. What’s your wish? Why don’t you come see if the genie will grant it? We’ll be waiting...!
September 19: Jungle Adventure
Quit monkeying around and join us for an exciting jungle adventure! We’ll team up with Tarzan as we make friends with monkeys, frolic with frogs, sing with the birds and hunt for the elusive jungle predators. But the jungles are disappearing so you better hurry over. You don’t want to miss this!
September 26: Go Fish
There’s something fishy going on here... and that’s normal! Fish come in many different sizes, shapes and colors, and they make great pets, too. Come dive into the world of fish and discover more about these amazing creatures!
October 10: Royal Treatment
Ever wonder what it’s like to be royalty? Well wonder no more and come get the royal treat-ment! We will travel the world, learning proper royal etiquette, donning exquisite attire, dining at royal feasts and learning the ins and outs of the world’s ruling elite.
October 31: Super Chef
Does chocolate milk come from brown cows? Come find out as we follow our food from the farm to the plate, learning about where our food comes from and how it turns into the delectable dishes we eat. We’ll even get the chance to cook up a storm using all we’ve learned. (An additional $5 will be charged to participate in this session).
November 21: National Treasures
Can you crack the code in time to unlock the se-crets of our past? There’s a wealth of knowledge to be found in between the lines of our history books. Be a part of the adventure as we search for history’s treasures!
